SUMMARY:Generation IV: nuclear reactor systems for the future
DESCRIPTION:INSTN (French Institute for Nuclear Science and Technology) and the GEN IV International Forum are jointly organizing the International course: Generation IV: Nuclear reactor system for the future. \nThe GEN IV course is particularly designed for professionals\, engineers\, researchers and students with an interest in a global view of the 4th generation of nuclear reactor as well as the scientists already involved in GEN IV activities. \nThe general objective is to provide participants with an up-to-date\, basic knowledge on the six concepts selected for the 4thgeneration of nuclear systems (SFR\, LFR\, GFR\, V/HTR\, SCWR\, MSR): \n\nDescribe the main characteristics sof each concept\,\nFormulate their design\, performance and safety aspects\,\nDiscuss the technical challenges they are faced with for future development.
